Tealight house

Course description:

In this session, you will make a unique tealight house using porcelain clay. We will use the slab building technique and will emboss textures, cut out windows and add patterns to your own design. This clay fires a beautiful fresh white colour so perfect for the festive season. If there is time you can also add some colour details if you like on the day.

*Please note, only use battery tealights in these due to potential fire risk*

​

Your house will go through two firings before you collect it.

*All work will be ready to collect before Christmas but I cannot take into account any unforseen issues so unfortunately cannot 100% guarantee!

*Please be aware things can break in the kiln, it is unlikely but is one of the pitfalls of ceramics!

Please note the potters wheel is not used in this class.

Cost:

£35 pp for up to two hours including materials and firings. 

2 people minimum required per booking.
