Techniques such as slab building, pinching, coiling, press moulding, surface texture, colour and glazing are covered in the five weeks. From here, you are able to develop your own creativity with the material and are encouraged to explore your own interests and ideas. Important information
What to bring: These sessions aren’t overly messy, but you may wish to bring an apron or wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, just in case! mportant note on breakages: While it doesn’t happen often, I cannot guarantee that work won’t crack during the drying process or inside the kiln. This is an inherent risk of pottery that can affect beginners and experts alike. I cannot offer refunds for work that breaks in the kiln or is damaged while awaiting collection. Collection: All finished work must be collected within two weeks of receiving your “ready for collection” email. Due to very limited storage space and the risk of damage on busy shelves, I cannot hold items beyond this period.
